RETREAT DETAILS
A Balinese healer is called a Balian. We have worked with dozens of Balians and healers in Bali over the last couple decades and have found a handful that we feel are the most exceptional and gifted for a variety of treatments. We can schedule you with particular healers that excel in a modality that may benefit you. We must be discrete and discerning about the healers personal information and location as their primary duty is to their community.
Due to the deep connection that Floating Leaf has to the local community in Bali, we are permitted special access to healers that most westerners wouldn’t have otherwise. We must protect these relationships and ask that you respect the privacy of both the healer and his or her village.
We’ll arrange your private sessions as well as any group activities that best accommodates you and the healers.
You’ll have a jamu herbal medicine class to help you improve spiritual awareness and mental focus. We’ll also bring you to a cleansing ritual at Tempat Siring, one of Bali’s most sacred water temples.

Can I book additional tours of Bali or add other activities?
Yes. There is a lot to do and see in Bali from cultural & spiritual tours of Ubud, Uluwatu, Kintamani, Bedugal and Eastern Bali to adventure activities like surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, jungle trekking and white water rafting. Our complimentary concierge service will help to arrange tours and activities according to your preference.
What kind of payment options do you have?
We use PayPal’s secure payment platform to accept credit and debit card payments. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this free service. You can also send money via bank transfer. Please contact for more payment options.
Is Bali Safe?
Bali has virtually no violent crime. The people are as friendly as any place on earth. They smile and laugh easily. You are almost always welcome to their private rituals as they are very proud of their culture and eager to share with westerners. It is very likely that any amount of time here will produce lifelong friendships with any number of locals.
Indonesia has one of the fastest growing economies in the developing world and the government is stable.
Are the healing sessions safe?
Yes. You may experience a range of emotions, but at no time will you ever be in danger. We have carefully selected the healers we use in this package to a make sure they are authentic, effective and safe.
I’m on a restricted diet. Can your chef prepare food for my special needs?
Yes. Let us know beforehand of particular allergies or dietary restrictions. Our chef can prepare vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, raw, detox and other types of cuisine with amazing variety for your particular needs.
Can I book more sessions with the healer?
Possibly, but you already get 2, which is most likely enough. Any more than this and you may feel overwhelmed with emotion. Please consult with us before adding any additional sessions with the Balian.
Can I book more nights?
Yes. This retreat is scheduled for 3 nights, but if you want to add more, we’re happy to accommodate you. We’ll work with your custom schedule, whether it includes adding or subtracting nights.

- Women who are menstruating are unable to participate in Balinese purification rituals, enter temples or work with Balinese healers.

Floating Leaf Eco-Retreat believes in full transparency. The “++” that you will see for all hotels in Bali, and throughout Asia, refers to a government mandatory tax and service charge. Please be aware of this when comparing prices as some retreats will not disclose this information and can inflate this charge up to 40% in hidden costs.
Our policy is to be open and upfront and explain that the “++” at Floating Leaf is the minimum additional 21%. Your non-refundable non-transferable deposit secures your spot on this Bali retreat.
