FULL MOON REFLECTION: Subtle Self-Illumination
RETREAT DETAILS
I have been considering running this retreat for about 2 years, and the time is now right. The moon and life have aligned to offer a time of Subtle Self-Reflection.
Not only will you come away from it restored and recharged, each person will have also discovered something about their truest selves (Atma). The thing that floats below the surface ready to be move by the tide of life. The moon asserts its power through gentle influence and you will learn how to connect to that same power within yourself.
Each day will be a combination of structure and flow. The magic of the lunar phase enhanced by the beauty and intent of Floating Leaf Eco-Luxury Retreat. We will walk the short road to Pantai Purnama (Full Moon Beach) stopping at the sacred temple along the way known for its strong spiritual powers. Some days classes will take place on the beach. A black sand beach that people believe has curative powers. Many come to bury themselves in the sand and absorb its healing energy. There are many times Floating Leaf offers bonfires on the beach and we will be taking part. Learning to be with the Sacred.
Through the week, you will learn simple skills that can easily be incorporated into your life, allowing for reduced stress, a clearer mind, increased ability to communicate from your heart and a belief in the power you have to create the life you know you were put here to live.
Having the opportunity to do this work while being held in comfort and sacredness of Floating Leaf will elevate the experience. They understand the Ritam (rhythm and ritual) that flows into life when care and ceremony hold us in soft arms. Pack your heart, a journal and a willingness to experience everything you are, leave at home all the old stories that keep you from meeting your life.
Some of the Highlights you will experience will be the Full Moon with Sacred Ceremony, the nearby sacred Temple known for its spiritual power, and healing black sand beach, Pantai Purnama (Full Moon Beach). Beach Bonfires and Yoga on the beach and the huge local processions with gamelan orchestras and giant puppets that pass by Floating Leaf on their way to the sacred Full Moon Beach. RETREAT LEADERS
Beverly began teaching Yoga nearly 10 years ago, after 15 years of exploring the practice. Although it proved to be a wonderful addition to her life – strengthening old wrist injuries, returning mobility to a healed shoulder, allowing her to be with asthma through breath not a puffer, finding peace and joy – it was one of the big life moments that moved her to teacher training in her 40’s. Her father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and within months had passed on from this lifetime. The high stress of moving through that experience with her parents found Beverly a short time and 3 ambulance trips later on a hospital cardiac unit. After sleeping nearly the entire week there, she never did have the suggested operation. Instead she stepped back into her Yoga practice and an immersed breath practice which allowed the effects of stress to dissipate and life to return to balance. It was so effective that she even did a trek through the Andes the following year, reaching a 15,000 foot high. Shortly after returning to health she took her first teacher training program and life became continual experience of Dharma in action.
Certified and/or trained in Yin, Kundalini, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama (Breath Practice), Vinyasa, Prenatal, The Vedas, Forest Bathing and working towards certification in TRE, she also spends her time learning as much about the human body as possible to ensure she understands in detail the issues that come from living within the bodies we are gifted this lifetime. Being blessed enough to find teachers who reflect her views on putting the power of being back in the hands of individuals she went on to study with teachers such as Bernie Clark, Paul Grilley, Max Strom, Janet Stone and Jeffrey Armstrong to name a few. They have all contributed to her passion for ensuring people learn to understand themselves on a deep cellular level. Now, 10 years into the journey, she has more than 10,000 hours of teaching experience, opened her own small studio to ensure time with each student, and has moved so far beyond the generic idea of yoga that her students sometimes instead call her the Body Whisperer. She is a Curator of experiences and has developed her program called The 5 Body Integration, a program that encourages each person to become intimately aware of the forces that control their experiences as humans and to take this knowledge to move towards a more empowered life.
There is no room for dogma in Beverly’s teaching. She understands and acknowledges that each person is so unique in their bodies, their life experiences, their memories and how they view the world around them that it makes no sense to expect any 2 people to have the same Yoga experience.
You are incredible and beautiful and you are a gift to this world! Learn to believe it.

The Joy Professionals
Quick to smile and easy to laugh, the Balinese are experts at living a life of joy and fulfillment. They live in the moment, neither regretting past events nor vexing on what has yet to happen.
Perhaps nowhere else on Earth lives a better example of truly living in a joyful state than in Bali. Life here is interwoven with spirituality, delight in daily rituals and appreciation for all surrounding them.
We live, work, play and grow in harmony with our local community, the people of Sukawati village. Their support and encouragement for Floating Leaf was a driving force in our development and we involve the community in deciding exactly which philanthropic efforts will be of most help and interest to them.
Floating Leaf Eco-Retreat believes in full transparency. The “++” that you will see for all hotels in Bali, and throughout Asia, refers to a government mandatory tax and service charge. Please be aware of this when comparing prices as some retreats will not disclose this information and can inflate this charge up to 40% in hidden costs.
Our policy is to be open and upfront and explain that the “++” at Floating Leaf is the minimum additional 21%. Your non-refundable non-transferable deposit secures your spot on this Bali retreat. Please be sure to read our complete terms and conditions. Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you to Bali and Floating Leaf Eco-Luxury Retreat.
The moon teaches us that darkness can’t hide the beauty of life if we know how to reflect beauty.
